And we're kicking things right off with the opening song, Cruel Angel's Thesis. So sit back, relax, and watch as an old fan goes into one of Anime's most iconic shows for the very first time. I know it won't be the original cast, which is a shame because they sounded great in the movies, but those are the rules. Besides, they don't meet my criteria because, technically, they aren't even finished yet! And lastly, I've decided to go with the English Dub here. At the time it started coming out for home video in the states, I would still be in High School, but I was never really in a position to buy Anime. It was, in many ways, groundbreaking, and the fact that it remains popular to this day is a testament to the impact it had, not just on Anime, but on TV and Film around the world. It is used as a template for what people expect from a Super Robot show to be, either to be more like it, or to be less like it. Its spot in history is how it redefined the Super Robot genre, changing the landscape for decades to come. The last show, the one we're doing, is the 1995 classic Super Robot show, Neon Genesis Evangelion. It had cool action sequences, cool music, and a cool English voice cast that elevated what we expect from an English Dub. He has amazing range and his list of credits, include titles ranging from RainBow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty to God Eater to League of Legends, to Barbie's Dreamhouse Adventures and everything in between.
